Have you ever puzzled, pondered, wondered, ruminated, or cogitated upon the history of the particularly picturesque Arlington Row cottages in Bibury, Gloucestershire? No? Well I will tell you anyway. These stone cottages were originally constructed in 1380 as a monastic wool store, and converted into a row of weavers’ cottages in the seventeenth century. They now comprise the most photographed set of houses in the Cotswold area of England.(Bobrad on flickr)
